Olivia & Matthew {Cabo San Lucas, Mexico Destination Wedding}
There’s nothing quite like a destination wedding and this one, well this one was absolutely perfect in every way! Matt and Olivia decided to tie the knot in sunny Cabo San Lucas at the incredible Pueblo Bonito at Sunset Beach. Olivia, being a native of Mexico, and Matt wanted a place where all of their families and friends from both Mexico and the US could gather to celebrate their love for each other.
Pueblo Bonito is a wonderful resort built on the hill side of Cabo San Lucas that extends to where the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean meet at the southern tip of Baja California. This place was the perfect location of these two to tie the knot. Olivia in her gown by WToo by Watters was nothing short of stunning. Her hair and make up were exquisitely done by the ladies at Armonia Spa at Pueblo Bonito. Matt, in his navy suit and pink tie was as handsome a groom can be and a perfect match for his wife to be.
The intimate Catholic ceremony took place in the traditional chapel on the grounds of the resort. Friends and family looked on in love and support as these two exchanged their vows, pledging their love for each other. As the two exited into the colorful courtyard a Mariachi band began playing traditional Mexican songs, serenading the two as they were congratulated by their friends and family.
We took the two out to the beach for a sunset photo session on the beach and were able to capture these two beautiful people in the mist of the roaring ocean and the gorgeous sun going down over the horizon. Following, a tasty dinner ensued along with heartfelt toasts and words of wisdom from their family members.
Once the dinner and toasts ended, the DJ starting spinning both American and Latin American tunes and the dance floor lit up and was on fire with all of the dancing that took place. Everyone, even Matt’s dad got out on the floor and cut loose in celebration of the marriage of these two awesome people. The party lasted well into the early morning hours as it was indeed a joyous occasion!
We ares grateful to have been asked to photograph this wedding for our friends and it was one that we will remember for a lifetime. Congratulations Olivia and Matt!
